Senior Security Engineer — Application & Cloud Security Tech Lead (Permanent / CDI)

Why this role:

As a technical reference for the team, you will guide architecture decisions, set priorities and support delivery of the security roadmap. Your scope covers the application lifecycle, from source code and dependencies to cloud deployments and internet-facing services.

Our client:

OD Consulting is recruiting a cybersecurity Tech Lead for a company operating in an international environment. You will combine hands-on engineering, software development expertise and team leadership to strengthen application and cloud security.

Responsibilities:

• Guide technical decisions and contribute directly to security engineering projects.
• Coordinate team activities and balance project delivery with operational work.
• Strengthen security controls within development and deployment pipelines.
• Improve the detection and remediation of source-code and dependency vulnerabilities.
• Help secure cloud environments and manage internet-facing exposure.
• Support developers in remediation and the adoption of secure engineering practices.
• Document solutions, share good practices and develop team capabilities.

Essential skills:

• More than six years of experience in cybersecurity related to software development.
• Proven experience coordinating or leading a technical team.
• Strong software development skills, including the ability to write, review and fix code.
• Practical experience with at least one of Python, Java or JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Secure SDLC, SAST/SCA and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with public cloud environments, containers and associated security risks.
• Strong API security and authentication/authorization knowledge, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Professional fluency in English for international collaboration.

Additional strengths:

Experience with Infrastructure as Code, cloud security posture management and internet-facing service protection is welcome. Security or cloud certifications are an advantage.
